Homemade Granola

This has been a quarantine necessity in my house! I've been loving plain non-fat greek yogurt with this homemade granola, some fresh fruit and a little bit of honey.

It's really easy to make, just make sure you cook the granola low and slow so it doesn't burn. Enjoy!

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • pinch salt

  • 1/4 cup wheat germ

  • 1/2 cup neutral oil (coconut, canola, vegetable, etc.)

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup chopped nuts of your choice (walnuts, pecans, peanuts, almonds, etc.)

  • 1 cup dried fruit of your choice (red or golden raisins, cranberries, cherries, etc.)

  • Start by preheating your oven to 200 degrees.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, salt, wheat germ, oil, and honey.

  • Place on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and place in the oven for 60 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven and add the dried fruit and nuts.

  • Let cool, add to a reusable container and enjoy within two weeks!
