The idea for this paleo-friendly banana brownie popped into my head when I was craving chocolate but trying to eat healthy. It definitely hits the spot and there is NO added sugar (except for the chocolate chips), NO gluten, and NO added fat! I hope you try it out and enjoy!

Ingredients
2 cups almond flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup sifted cocoa powder
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp brewed espresso or strong coffee
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup coconut flakes (unsweetened)
Berries for garnish
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a pie dish or square baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
Combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt into a small bowl.
In a large bowl, combine the bananas, eggs and espresso/coffee.
Next, add the dry ingredients into the wet and fold together until combined.
Add the chocolate chips and coconut flakes.
Pour into the baking dish of your choice and bake for 35 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.
